This is posted using my new iPod touch. The interface is just great. The functionaity sucks.how the hell does Steve jobs think that safari would be acceptable without flash and various media players?
LOL yeah I got one recently and I agree, without flash at least it makes no sence, I do ador my iPod touch though, I have a portfolio of my photos in my pocket when needed, there are a few drawbacks like the lack of flash and stuff, but I still cant help loving it :)

flash is a resource hog, hence It wasn't included in the ipod touch. I think that apple might be trying to develop a more efficient flash player , then and only then will they include it.

There used be be a few slim Flash players out there. It shouldn't be that tricky.... OTH, it might be that they want to lock down or out certain possibilities in Flash :-(
Flash lite is probably what you are referring to. It has been criticized for poor quality audio and video. As steve said himself, the Iphone et al doesn't provide some sort of baby internet to the user. So I assume apple is waiting until adobe can produce a proper slimmed down version with comparable audio and video quality to the desktop version. regards, tony
